Begin with the shape of your stay
Camps Bay can be a beach holiday, a Cape Town base or a place to bring friends together. A good plan leaves space for the version you actually want. Before filling every day, decide whether your priorities are ocean time, mountain views, meals out or shared evenings at the house. That decision also helps you choose the right room: a terrace, a separate bedroom or a pool-facing patio can matter more than another stop on the itinerary.
Get to know the beachfront
Cape Town Tourism's neighbourhood guide highlights Camps Bay's sandy beach, dining spots, Twelve Apostles backdrop and Atlantic views. Use the beachfront as a place to orient yourself, with time for a walk and a meal rather than a rushed photo stop. Check a restaurant's current service and reservation arrangements directly if it is central to your plans.
Treat walking distances as property-specific. CapeAura publishes an approximate 1 km to the beach and promenade, while VistaBlu lists approximately 1.5 km to the beach, restaurants and cafés. They are separate houses, and an attractive map pin is not a promise of the same walk from every room.

Keep the mountain day movable
If Table Mountain is on your list, make it a flexible part of the stay. The Cableway's official website carries operational and weather information and notes that bad weather can close the service. Check it again before leaving, and use the operator's current ticket and getting-here guidance. A reservation elsewhere should not depend on an assumed cable-car departure.
A mountain walk needs its own planning. SANParks explains that Table Mountain is a serious mountain with changeable conditions. Choose a route suited to the party and obtain current advice; proximity to a city does not turn every trail into a casual promenade.

Make some time for the house
The African Vibes collection offers three different settings for the hours between outings. CapeAura has six suites and a communal sea-view terrace. SeaViu has seven individually styled rooms with a pool and garden. VistaBlu has six room and suite categories across seven bedrooms, including a two-bedroom Family Suite.
CapeAura has a communal kitchen and does not offer breakfast; VistaBlu is self-catering and meals are not provided. Confirm SeaViu's food arrangements directly. For a group, agreeing meal plans early avoids an arrival-day scramble and gives everyone a clearer idea of what their accommodation includes.

Plan the practical details, then leave a gap
Send the team your dates, guest numbers and room preferences, along with any access needs. Confirm parking for your actual vehicle and the arrival instructions before travelling. CapeAura's quiet hours are 9pm–9am, including exclusive bookings; build a group schedule that respects that setting.
Airport transfers, day trips and Jeep Wrangler hire can be requested, with availability and inclusions confirmed separately. Keep one uncommitted stretch in the itinerary for a pool afternoon, an extra conversation or the changing light. That breathing room makes the coastal base part of the holiday, rather than simply somewhere to sleep.
